Our products are dispatched from our production plant in Wiedergeltingen, Bavaria, to companies across the world. These products assist in producing surfaces with technical and optical precision.
At our laboratory we develop solutions for individual applications, new product groups, innovations and serial processes. We qualify our products and carry out preliminary tests inhouse, and work together with our customers to define process chains. This saves time and costs.

More than 55 years of company history
1960
ELKA is founded as a ceramic grinding wheel factory in Türkheim by ceramic engineer H. Lauhinger.
1975
began the first marketing of phenolic resin bonded grinding and cutting wheels.
1990
the company is taken over by Mr. Werner Leroch. This was followed by a change to the production of elastically bonded abrasives.
1991
move to the current production site (5,000m²) in Wiedergeltingen follows.
1998
the company is certified according to DIN ISO 9001.
2006
ELKA becomes a recognized apprenticing company. The first apprentice is hired for the profession of an industrial clerk.
2014
Expansion of the production capacities.
2018
Increase in laboratory capacity.
